WAREHOUSE STATIONERY QUEENSTOWN

MISSION

Focus Digital Security Solutions Limited have been Warehouse Stationery’s preferred installer of Security systems in their nationwide chain of stores over 10 years and have worked collaboratively with management to design a specification of security equipment that was innovative, added layers of value and future proofed their investment.

Warehouse Stationery designed and built a new concept store in Queenstown. Located centrally the store was ideally positioned to generate high levels of foot traffic and interest. Securing the premise and the comprehensive range of Laptops, Tablets and peripherals from burglary and theft formed the basis of the brief.

The project required the team to install an IP CCTV system, Protege IP Security Alarm, Beonic IP Thermal Customer Counting system and an EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance system). All systems were designed in consultation with the client and based on previous installation experience.

CCTV comprised Axis High Definition IP CCTV cameras and a Digifort Network Video Recorder. The system design included Axis 360 degree cameras mounted to view the “high risk” merchandise on display. Digifort’s “Pana-Morph” technology produced total CCTV coverage of the area and ensured an individual could be monitored throughout the area on one camera.

The Beonic thermal customer counting solution, currently installed by Focus in all of Warehouse Stationery’s 67 sites nationwide, has a suite of reports that allows the client to remotely monitor customer counts against daily/weekly sales, identify peak trading times to roster staff and improve customer service and increase sales.

The installed Protégé IP alarm system can be remotely accessed to allow changes to be made to the system such as the adding of new users codes, remote diagnostics and exception reporting affording the client total control of the security infrastructure.

SOLUTION

Focus Digital Security Solutions Limited worked closely with the site's Architect, Project Manager, IT Manager and Security team to install the devices to secure the premise allowing stock to be delivered pre-opening with no disruption to the store’s opening programme.

All IP components of the Security infrastructure were installed and networked to comply with the client’s strict IT Policy.

RESULT

The project was completed on time, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction. “As built” plans detailing all detection devices, components and locations were supplied to the customer and comprehensive training given to the store team.

Focus Digital Security Solutions Ltd are proud to be a preferred supplier of Security technology to Warehouse Stationery.

"Once again, thank you again for providing a security solution that not only exceeded our demanding security brief but fits in perfectly with the aesthetics of our new Queenstown store which was a very important aspect of the build.  Your team have again delivered on time and well within budget and have worked seamlessly with our other contractors."

Glenn Sinclair, National Profit Protection Manager, Warehouse Stationery.
